Come join in the fun at the Roma Junior Touch Football competition between October to the end of March each year (excluding school holidays). Catering for U6s to U18s skills training and games are played each Monday afternoon from 4:15pm at the Roma Touch Grounds, located at the eastern end of Bungil Street, Roma. Players are drawn from throughout the Maranoa region including Injune, Mitchell, Morven, Surat, Wallumbilla, Yuleba and all places in-between.
Our philosophy is skills development, improvement, participation and fun. Teams are mixed across localities giving players a great opportunity to meet new people and develop new friendships.
We have wonderful volunteers (and will always take more) with development pathways in place for players, referees and coaches – anyone who is keen. There is opportunity to try out for the Roma Rangers and represent our club at various competitions throughout the year in places like the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba and Hervey Bay. We also host our very own Roma Country Cup – where we not only enjoy a fun rivalry against neighbouring regions, but bring the city to the country for a great couple of days of touch football intermingled with awesome country hospitality and entertaining shenanigans.
