National Touch League

The National Touch League (NTL) is the premier Touch Football Australia event held in March on annual basis. The aim of the tournament is to celebrate the ‘best against the best’; Australia’s representative Touch Football showcase and best players competing at the elite level, striving for the prestigious national titles and Australian Squad selection/ honours.

The NTL event has proven to be a highlight on the Touch Football calendar. Every year the event embodies continuous development of our sport with improved procedures, production and delivery befitting Touch Football’s showpiece event.

Available divisions:

  • Open Men’s, Open Women’s, Open Mixed
  • Men’s 20’s, Women’s 20’s
  • Men’s 30’s, Women’s 27’s, Senior Mixed (30s), Women’s 35’s
  • Men’s 40’s, Women’s 40’s, Masters Mixed (40’s)
  • Men’s 45’s, Women’s 45s
  • Men’s 50’s, Women’s 50’s, Men’s 55’s, Men’s 60’s
  • All Abilities

National Youth Championships

The Touch Football Australia National Youth Championships will be held in Kawana on the Sunshine Coast from Wednesday 24th – Saturday 30th  September 2023.  

Touch Football is one of the few sports that School Sport Australia and a National Sporting Organisation have been able to conduct an integrated event and program. This ongoing event has proven to be a highlight for the youth of Australia; showcasing emerging talent from teams across the country and providing a great opportunity for all participants to be identified for future Australian representation.

The 2023 event will see Junior U12, U14, U16 and U18 teams from across the country attend the National Youth Championships in the same format as TFA’s National Touch League. Queensland Regional Junior teams will compete at NYC in place of the Qld Junior State Championships.

SWQ Primary All Schools

The SWQ Primary All Schools is a school event, run by South West Queensland Touch. It is open to Primary school teams from SWQ and neighbouring regions. This event provides a high level of competition between city and country schools, resulting in great development opportunities for the sport of Touch in the Primary School system. The SWQ PAS, held in October annually provides valuable opportunities for primary school teams and players to develop in the lead up to the Queensland Primary All Schools.​

The 2023 Primary All Schools (Western Conference) will be held on Sunday October 15th at Dalby Touch Association.

The 2023 Primary All Schools (Eastern Conference) will be held on Friday October 20th at Ipswich Touch Association.

Entry cost is;

$230 per team if you provide a referee per team nominated for the tournament.

$300 if you’re unable to provide a referee per team nominated.

The divisions will be: 

  • Boys,
  • Girls,
  • Mixed

SWQ Secondary All Schools

The SWQ Secondary All Schools is a school event, run by South West Queensland Touch. It is open to secondary school teams from SWQ and neighbouring regions. The SWQ SAS, held in August annually, provides valuable opportunities for secondary school teams and players to develop in the lead up to the Queensland Secondary All Schools.

The 2023 Secondary All Schools will be held on Sunday 6th August, at Kearney’s Spring, Ruthven Street, Toowoomba.

Entry cost is;

$230 per team if you provide a referee per team nominated for the tournament.

$300 if you’re unable to provide a referee per team nominated.

SWANS SCHOOLS CUP

The 6 week, Swans Schools Cup has been established by South West Queensland (SWQ) Touch to provide students in their respective local areas with the opportunity to practice what they are learning at school within game scenarios in the lead-up to the Gold Coast Titans All Schools.  We all know the importance of practice and application of skills, and so we wanted to ensure we were providing more opportunities for your students to achieve greater success. 

The 2023 Swans Schools Cup will be held from Monday 17th July to Monday 21st August at Kearney’s Spring Toowoomba.
